A libxml2 security update has been released for Debian GNU/Linux 8 LTS

It was discovered that there was a potential denial of service
vulnerability in libxml2, the GNOME XML parsing library.

For Debian 8 "Jessie", this issue has been fixed in libxml2 version
2.9.1+dfsg1-5+deb8u8.
