A neutron security update has been released for Debian GNU/Linux 9 LTS to address an issue where authenticated attackers could have reconfigured dnsmasq via a crafted extra_dhcp_opts value within OpenStack's Neutron virtual network service.

It was discovered that there was an issue where authenticated
attackers could have reconfigured dnsmasq via a crafted
extra_dhcp_opts value within OpenStack's Neutron virtual network
service.
For Debian 9 "Stretch", this problem has been fixed in version
2:9.1.1-3+deb9u2.
