Nearly two months has elapsed since GNOME 2.6.0 was unleashed, and the follow-up 2.6.1 release of the Desktop and Developer Platform is now here. Numerous bugs have been squashed, Nautilus' spatial mode has been slightly refined, and the GNOME Office components have received updated.
