A bind9 security update has been released for Debian GNU/Linux 10 and 11 to address two vulnerabilities that could result in denial of service or cache poisoning.

Two vulnerabilities were found in the BIND DNS server, which could
result in denial of service or cache poisoning.
For the oldstable distribution (buster), this problem has been fixed
in version 1:9.11.5.P4+dfsg-5.1+deb10u7.
For the stable distribution (bullseye), this problem has been fixed in
version 1:9.16.27-1~deb11u1.
We recommend that you upgrade your bind9 packages.
