A jsoup security update has been released for Debian GNU/Linux 7 Extended LTS to address a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability.

An issue has been found in jsoup, a Java HTML parser that makes sense of real-world HTML soup. Due to bad handling of missing ‘>’ at EOF a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability could appear.

For Debian 7 Wheezy, these problems have been fixed in version 1.6.2-1+deb7u1.

We recommend that you upgrade your jsoup packages.
