An openjdk-8 new package has been released for Debian GNU/Linux 8 Extended LTS.

Package openjdk-8
Version 8u265-b01-0+deb8u1

This update brings OpenJDK 8 to Debian 8 jessie. This will become the default Java version in a separate update.

For Debian 8 jessie, these problems have been fixed in version 8u265-b01-0+deb8u1.

We recommend that you upgrade your openjdk-8 packages.
