Adam Doupe discovered multiple vulnerabilities in package gst-plugins-good1.0, which contains Gstreamer plugins from the “good” set. The issues are within the plugins to demux Mastroska and AVI files, which could result in denial of service or the execution of arbitrary code.

For Debian 8 jessie, these problems have been fixed in version 1.4.4-2+deb8u5.

For Debian 9 stretch, these problems have been fixed in version 1.10.4-1+deb9u2.

We recommend that you upgrade your gst-plugins-good1.0 packages.
