EuroLinux 8.10, based on RHEL 8.10, is available for the x86_64 and aarch64 platforms. It includes updated modules like MariaDB, Nginx, PHP, PostgreSQL, and Python. Crucial system components and development tools have been updated to newer versions. EuroLinux is accessible both as a paid membership and for free in the Open Core model, providing maximum value to users and the community.





EuroLinux 8.10 released

The EuroLinux 8.10 release is codenamed ‘Bucharest’ – the capital of Romania. EuroLinux 8.10 is available for x86_64 and aarch64 (ARM64) architectures.

Among the most significant new features are the new modules:

  • MariaDB version 10.11
  • Nginx version 1.24
  • PHP version 8.2
  • PostgreSQL version 16
  • Python 3.12.

Furthermore, the most crucial system components and developer tools have been upgraded to newer versions:

  • GCC toolset version 13
  • GO language stack version 1.21
  • Rust language stack version 1.75
  • LLVM stack version 17.

Open Core

As of version 8.3,  EuroLinux is available both as a paid supported subscription and free of charge in the Open Core model. The advantage of such a solution is to deliver the greatest possible value to users and the community. It is a modern, transparent and responsible business model.

As of version 8.3, every user of EuroLinux and EuroLinux containers receives a complete system with updates released at the same time for users using the paid and free versions.
The paid version of the system additionally provides the following::

  • direct technical support from the manufacturer,
  • the access to additional intermediate packages (if the support service requires it),
  • the ability to influence product development.

The system is also available at no charge in the released version of EuroLinux 9 and EuroLinux 9 Desktop. The freeware edition is fully functional, but does not include commercial support for the product.

EuroLinux is available and supported in versions 9.x, 8.x and 7.x. This allows it to be used as the only system in your organization’s ecosystem.
The latest supported versions of EuroLinux are:

  • 9.4 – fully supported system,
  • 8.10 – fully supported system,
  • 7.9 – fully supported system.
