March 9, 2005: String change deadline (data provided)
March 21, 2005: Fedora Core 4 Test 2, string build freeze (builds completed)
April 6, 2005: Translation deadline (data provided), Fedora Core 4 Test 3 devel freeze
April 18, 2005: Fedora Core 4 Test 3, translation build freeze (builds completed)
... Continual freeze, only critical bugs fixed until release
May 2, 2005: Absolute devel freeze
May 16, 2005: Release open, announced

Fedora Core 2 will be discontinued at the point Fedora Core 4 Test 2 is released. The Fedora Legacy Project will start to release security updates for Fedora Core 2 at this point.
