Geary 0.12.0 has been released. Geary is an email application built around conversations, for the GNOME 3 desktop. It allows you to read, find and send email with a straightforward, modern interface.
This is a major new release, featuring a number of new features such as inserting inline images and using multiple spell checker dictionaries when composing new messages, improvements for keyboard navigation, a substantial rework of the conversation user interface, as well as a number of important bug, server compatibility, and security fixes.
Notably, this is the first version of Geary that officially supports installation via Flatpak, allowing people to always run the latest version of Geary, regardless of which version was shipped with their operating system.
As a special note, thanks to the many first-time contributors that added new features and fixed bugs in this release, it would not have been possible without you.
