In order to address a problem with invalid state cache files, GloriousEggroll has announced the release of GE-Proton7-47 with a hotfix for DXVK. GE-Proton is a fork of the Wine-based Proton compatibility tool for Steam Play.

I received a ping from the dxvk author today for the following hotfix:

@GloriousEggroll sorry for ping but you might want to update dxvk in your proton builds asap,
since we've been writing invalid state cache files that can lead to all sorts of trouble.

Per the commit it will invalidate old caches automatically, you do not need to do anything yourself.
