Michael Catanzaro has announced the release of GNOME 40.9, the final bugfix update for the GNOME 40 series.

GNOME 40.9 is now available. This is a stable bugfix release for GNOME 40. All operating systems shipping GNOME 40 are encouraged to upgrade.

GNOME 40.9 is the final bugfix update for GNOME 40. GNOME 40 has now reached end of life, and will receive no further updates. It's time toupgrade to GNOME 41 or GNOME 42 (to be released tomorrow).
