Ubuntu 11.04 Natty user with Kubuntu Desktop Environment now can install OS X-Lion style takeoff launcher to add to desktop as a full screen app launcher. Use the commands in terminal to install takeoff from ppa:ferramroberto/nattyextra: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:ferramroberto/nattyextra sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install takeoff After that, in right-click desktop menu select Add Widgets...Install Mac OS X-Lion Style Full Screen App Launcher in KDE Desktop
