Today KDE released updates for its Applications and Development Platform, the first in a series of monthly stabilization updates to the 4.14 series. This release contains only bugfixes and translation updates, providing a safe and pleasant update for everyone.KDE Ships Applications 4.14.1, Platform 4.14.1 and Workspaces 4.11.12
More than 50 recorded bugfixes include improvements to Personal Information Management suite Kontact, Umbrello UML Modeller, the document viewer Okular, the vocabulary learning application Parley and the file manager Dolphin.

This release also includes Plasma Workspaces 4.11.12.

Installing 4.14.1 Binary Packages
Packages. Some Linux/UNIX OS vendors have kindly provided binary packages of 4.14.1 for some versions of their distribution, and in other cases community volunteers have done so. Additional binary packages, as well as updates to the packages now available, may become available over the coming weeks.
