Kdenlive 24.08.1 is now released, with numerous bug fixes and enhancements. The entire changelog addresses a variety of issues, including reassigning timecode to project clips, resolving crashes on undo/redo single selection moves, dragging transitions to clip cuts, preventing clip offsets, and repairing clip offsets.
The update also fixes issues with compositions not being easily selected in the timeline, replacing: and? characters in guide names for rendering, and preventing timeline scrolling when the mouse leaves the timeline. The update also addresses issues with blurry widgets on high DPI monitors, incorrectly enabled keyframe settings, and crashes on empty tracks. The update also addresses issues with the archive feature not correctly recognizing MLT lumas, as well as changes for Titler tabulations.

Kdenlive 24.08.1 is out and we urge all to upgrade. This version fixes recent playback and render regressions while fixing a wide range of bugs.
