One reason I've personally stayed away from Linux is compatibility with the programs that I'm used to. MS Office for example. While gaming has been well, rather absent until recently, some game manufacturers are starting to program Linux game servers, and of course the games. So what is the average Technician think? That's what we're here to find out. Personally, The only think I've ever done with Linux is move a mouse around, played a little tux racing... I've never set up any Distro of Linux before, so let's see if I can do it."
