The first release candidate for Mesa 22.0.0 is finally available. Mesa is the default graphics library for Linux with support for OpenGL, OpenGL ES, Vulkan, OpenCL, and more.

Hi list,

I'd like to announce mesa 22.0.0-rc1, the first release candidate of 2022! We're releasing on our scheduled pushed back by three weeks, and we've seen some great work go into mesa in that time.

Radv, Anv, and Venus have all gained Vulkan 1.3 support, which is huge. So look forward to that.

Plan on regluar releases over the coming weeks as we move toward the 22.0 final release.
