Here the announcement:

The first OpenMandriva Lx 4.1 release cycle milestone is available for download and testing.

Testing is a critical step during development as all bug fixing will take place during this lapse of time. Therefore we exhort all OpenMandriva users to test our system and report any issue you may find at our forum or at our bug tracking system.

Omlx_4_1alpha_01

Major changes since 4.0:

— The toolchain has been updated - everything has been built with glibc 2.30 and clang 9.0
— The kernel has been updated to 5.3.9
— Qt has been updated to 5.14.0 (beta 2 for now, will be 5.14.0 final for the final version)
— Plasma has been updated: Frameworks 5.64, Plasma Desktop 5.17.2, Applications 19.08.3
— More alternative desktops are available for testing
— We also provide the OpenMandriva clang compiled kernel, named kernel-release-clang. User can install same version of kernel-release and kernel-release-clang for comparison. It is built from the same sources as the regular kernel package, but has been built using the clang toolchain instead of gcc. Clang is the default compiler in OpenMandriva, but only recently the kernel was made compatible with it - for now, this is experimental.

As always, please read the Release Notes and the Errata.
