Valve Software has released a new version of Proton. Proton is a tool based on WINE for use with the Steam client which allows games which are exclusive to Windows to run on the Linux operating system.

Most users will prefer to use Proton provided by the Steam client itself. The source code is provided to enable advanced users the ability to alter Proton. For example, some users may wish to use a different version of Wine with a particular title.

• Add optional support for Nvidia's NVAPI GPU support library and DLSS. It is disabled by default and can be enabled with PROTON_ENABLE_NVAPI=1.
• Update wine-mono to 6.3.0.

• Update FAudio to 20.08.
• Fix Microsoft Flight Simulator hang while loading.
