ProtonUp-Qt 2.11.1  has been released and provides a graphical interface for installing and updating Proton-GE for Steam, as well as Wine-based compatibility utilities such as Wine-GE for Lutris. The new release featuring changes such as the proton-ge-rtsp compatibility tool, WineZGUI option in custom install dialog, UnicodeDecodeError bug fix, and IndexError crash fix.

How to install

Recommended: Get it from  Flathub / your app store (release on Flathub will follow a few days after AppImage release)

  1. Download the ProtonUp-Qt AppImage
  2. Mark the AppImage as executable (either using your file manager or using the Terminal: chmod +x ProtonUp-Qt*.AppImage)
  3. Double-click the AppImage to run ProtonUp-Qt
