Samba 4.20.5 is the latest stable release in the Samba 4.20 series. It addresses issues such as "inherit permissions = yes" triggers, inaccurate FSCTL_QUERY_ALLOCATED_RANGES responses, samba-tool importing the default configuration file, and confusion over compound SMB2 queries. Additionally, new vfs_ceph modules have been introduced, and readlinkat crashes have been resolved.
