The Samba Team has announced the availability of Samba 4.21.5, the most recent stable version within the Samba 4.21 release series.  Samba is the standard Windows interoperability suite of programs for Linux and Unix.

This update resolves multiple issues, including a minor LDB index cache related to recognized large transactions, enhancements for CephFS case insensitive functionality, and problems with the definition of subnet-based interfaces not responding to all applicable IP addresses. The release also resolves issues with vfs_acl_tdb, addressing the inability to remove files or directories and the hanging of "samba-tool domain backup offline".
