results in the Unity dash are implemented by default in Ubuntu 12.10.
He points out privacy concerns with what he calls a "dramatic case of
'calling home'" and says that the "behavior needs to be fixed in 13.04
and SRUed into 12.10. If there is no fast solution, then it just needs
to be disabled by default until it has a sane notification flow."
