A security issue affects these releases of Ubuntu and its derivatives:

- Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
- Ubuntu 20.04 LTS
- Ubuntu 18.04 LTS
- Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Available with Ubuntu Pro)

Summary:

EventSource could leak sensitive information if it opened a specially crafted
input file.

Software Description:
- node-eventsource: EventSource client for Node.js and Browser (polyfill)

Details:

It was discovered that EventSource incorrectly handled certain inputs. If a
user or an automated system were tricked into opening a specially crafted
input file, a remote attacker could possibly use this issue to obtain
sensitive information.

Update instructions:

The problem can be corrected by updating your system to the following
package versions:

Ubuntu 22.04 LTS:
node-eventsource 1.1.0+~1.1.8-1ubuntu0.1

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS:
node-eventsource 0.2.1-1+deb10u1build0.20.04.1

Ubuntu 18.04 LTS:
node-eventsource 0.2.1-1+deb10u1build0.18.04.1

Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Available with Ubuntu Pro):
node-eventsource 0.1.6-1ubuntu0.1~esm1

In general, a standard system update will make all the necessary changes.
