GloriousEggroll has released Wine-GE Proton8-19 with a hotfix for World of Warships login hang. Wine-GE is a build of WINE based on/forked from the most recent bleeding-edge proton experimental wine repo and can be used with Bottles or Lutris.

Note: You need to set the following envvar for the fix to work:

SteamGameId=552990

This has been pre-configured in the lutris installer scripts.
