A backport of Ximian Evolution 1.4.3 is now available for Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 (Woody). This backport runs only along with James Strandboge's GNOME 2.2 backport.
Add the following to your /etc/apt/sources.list:
Then apt-get update and apt-get upgrade
Visit APT repository
Add the following to your /etc/apt/sources.list:
# Ximian Evolution 1.4.3 for Woody
deb http://apt.bxlug.be/ evolution1.4/
Then apt-get update and apt-get upgrade
